Tutti Fruity Party!
Tutti Frutti Party! Megan turned nine as the pandemic was coming to an end...thank God! We were prepared to have it be an outside party but having kept it to friends and family we already saw regularly we moved it indoors. I had found these adorable plates and some toucan balloon kits in the dollar spot at Target and the idea ran from there. I had made two cakes. One for her real birthday and one for her party. Her pineapple one was my favorite by far! The Watermelon cake had a sprinkle filled center and the layers were meant to mimic the inside of a watermelon...complete with brown jimmies that melted into seed spots while it baked. We had an activity to start the party off as usual. Some fun stickers I found on Amazon. They can make adorable fruity characters. The kids had a ball creating them. Fruit Bingo was our next activity. We used TRIX cereal as game pieces. It was fun and delicious. The primary party activity was t...
