Tutti Fruity Party!

Tutti Frutti Party! Megan turned nine as the pandemic was coming to an end...thank God!  We were prepared to have it be an outside party but having kept it to friends and family we already saw regularly we moved it indoors.  I had found these adorable plates and some toucan balloon kits in the dollar spot at Target and the idea ran from there. I had made two cakes.  One for her real birthday and one for her party.  Her pineapple one was my favorite by far! The Watermelon cake had a sprinkle filled center and the layers were meant to mimic the inside of a watermelon...complete with brown jimmies that melted into seed spots while it baked. We had an activity to start the party off as usual.  Some fun stickers I found on Amazon.  They can make adorable fruity characters.  The kids had a ball creating them. Alice in Wonderland Birthday Party Well we watched the movie and she fell in love with "Allison" in Wonderland. It was too cute.  Then I found this adorable tea pot at HomeGoods and was hooked on the idea.  I was on a mission.  I knew I had to do something tea related and when a super cute paint your own pottery studio opened up nearby- I had to host the party there.  Each child painted a cute "tea cup" inspired mug.  We had a blast watching them pick their colors and create their own little works of art. I am not going to lie I was a little embarrassed about the over the top decorations etc. we took into this poor unsuspecting business, but I won them over by giving them all the party treats. Hahahaha.  I also made sure to leave it just like we found it. I started with these adorable hats...I could not stop.  We ended up having a couple extra, but I mean, they were so fun to make!!!!
